Electric/water sites are available. ($25 - Cash preferred) One night stays only. Vollama Acres is a 40-acre llama ranch located in the Farmland Preservation Area in Northwest Marion County. We have been breeding and selling llamas for 20 plus years. Our numbers vary, but we currently have 11 llamas, 3 alpacas, 4 sheep, 1 donkey, 1 miniature zebu cow, and chickens. In addition, we have several wildlife visitors and residents on our property, including deer, wild turkeys, gopher tortoises, snakes, hawks, owls, and an occasional bald eagle. Check out our Vollama Acres Facebook page to see the fun adventures we have! 😀
We are an agritourism destination. Upon your arrival, we will give you a complimentary tour of our property in our “ranch limo”, weather and daylight permitting. You can then walk the ranch and observe our animals over the fence. Children must be supervised at all times. Closed toe shoes are highly recommended, as there are fire ants on the ranch. Boots are better. We have trails cut through the woods on our property, where you can walk to look for wildlife. Our ranch is conveniently located just 6 ½ miles off I-75, 20 miles south of Gainesville and University of Florida, 20 miles north of Ocala, and 17 miles from the World Equestrian Center. The town of Micanopy, the oldest inland town in Florida, with several quaint antique shops, is just 7 miles away. We have a 50 amp and 30 amp RV sites with water for $25. Electric sites are closest to our animals. Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8AM. Check in MUST be before dark. Please notify us 15 minutes before arrival so we can meet you out on the road and guide you to your site. Checkout is 10AM. Pet Policy: We are a pet-friendly farm, however pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. NO AGGRESSIVE PETS ALLOWED! Pets are the responsibility of the owner. We reserve the right to restrict pets for the safety of our guests and/or our farm animals. Upon check-in, please notify us if you have pets. A signed liability waiver is required. We look forward to meeting you and sharing our ranch life with you. Bruce & Kathi |
